In my commercial advertising class, we were given an assignment to reproduce an image from a magazine ad. We had to shoot an image with the same lighting, similar looking model, image angle, and image crop...and then the two images would be compared to see how closely we came to the original ad.
Needless to say, it was a challenging project.
This is the image I ended up with.
My exposure was 200 @ f/5 with a soft box and my Canon 20D.

I like this portrait, the butterfly light is great. The posing is weird, but it works. Nice work.
You did a great job and the chair looks AWESOME! Nice choice of location, model and angle! I think you reproduced the original image pretty good!
